I have one slender root in Piute County: Jared Alvin and Elsie May (Birdsall) Taylor of Marysvale are my great-grandparents.

When I began to research their lives, I decided I wanted to learn about their neighbors, to know the people who were important to my family. That project grew and grew and grew until now I have compiled files on about 12,000 people connected to Piute County's past. Much of that has been organized but much still remains to sort through. Visit often, as this site will grow regularly.

I love these past residents of Piute just as much as I love my own ancestors.

This is my first attempt at putting up a website, which explains why there is so little flash and sparkle. But you probably came here looking for information and not fancy graphics, right?
