Do you like the "A-ha!" experience?

S o o o o - - - just what is NEXIALIST N+E+W+S anyway? It's a little hard to explain, but here's one of the better attempts:

I've never seen anything else like it. White does a periodic compilation of clips from sources around the world which tell various stories. The clips come from authoritative sources such as scholars and news sources and Mr. White includes cites (and links when available) to these sources.

He calls this form "Nexialist News" as, he says, "nexus" means "connection." Thus the story is told mainly by the juxtaposition and connections between clips. Since the clips are all from solid but previously unconnected sources, whatever story they tell is very convincing. When I was trying to get an interview with Sheriff Dave Mattis of Big Horn County, Wyoming (to do a NEXIALIST N+E+W+S FEATURE called JURISDICTION 001), my contact, then Wyoming L.P. Chair Steve Richardson, asked me for a description of NEX NEWS so he could explain it to Mattis. I sent Steve What Is NEXIALIST N+E+W+S (the explanation I'd prepared) and a link to what had turned out to be the original NEX NEWS.

He said the explanation wasn't too clear, but the example cleared it right up.
